Named one of the Caribbean’s most influential music business executives by Trinidad and Tobago’s E-Zone Magazine in 2008, Ronnie Morris has developed through the ranks of the industry, from a singer to event producer, music teacher, manager, booking agent and more.
This 29 year-old entrepeneur entered the music industry at the age of 12, becoming the youngest ever runner-up in the annual Richard Stoute Teen Talent Contest. In 1993, at the tender age of 13, Barbados' then Governor General, the late Dame Nita Barrow, presented him with the UNICEF Award of Merit, for outstanding achievements in music. A recording artist with five albums to is credit, he has also claimed nine NIFCA Awards, was a finalist in the Party Monarch Competition (for which he now serves as a judge) and in 2003 won the prestigious Best Talent Award in the Mr. World Contest in London. Awarded the Barbados Youth Business Trust's Innovation Award in 2007 for the annual Barbados Music Awards, of which he is Founder and Director, he has served on the production team of large-scale regional events including CARIFESTA (Trinidad) and Guyana Fashion Weekend (Guyana), for which h serves as Director of Marketing. In 2009 he served as part of the delegation of Barbados’ Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. David Thompson, on his State Visit to Cuba, as the selected representative of Barbados’ music industry.
As founder and director of Timeless Barbados Inc. he serves as part of the management team for international superstar Regina Belle, overseeing her activities in the Caribbean and Latin America.
