It is generally recognised that the needs of members often go beyod the strict mandate of the collective management organisation.  Whilst there are many successful songwriters and performers, there are many more who require developmental support.  As with many sister organisations, COSCAP has responded to these needs by establishing a Foundation.

The primary objectives of the Foundation are to:

• create opportunities for COSCAP members;
• offer assistance to COSCAP members through social welfare activity;
• provide educational activities geared to increase awareness and appreciation for the Barbadian creative industries generally and the music industry specifically and
• promote and stimulate an enabling environment for the Barbadian music industry and exploitation of Barbadian music.
